As the provincial capital of Vorarlberg, seat of the provincial government, home to 28,000 residents, and situated at the crossroads of 4 countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Bregenz has something to offer for everyone and in every season. In its 2000 years of existence, it has been settled by the Brigantines and the Romans, and the medieval centre with its baroque onion dome still dominates the town.

Bregenz lies on the shores of the third largest lake in Central Europe, making watersports a must. The 1064 m landmark mountain, the Pfänder, is an ideal look-out tower with fabulous 360° panoramic views. In addition to being a leisure and shopping town, Bregenz also lays claim to being the cultural capital of the region. The world-renowned Bregenz Festival, top-class events, fabulous architecture, the Art Museum, numerous theatres and galeries offer year-round entertainment.

Corn Market Square ("Kornmarkt")

The Kornmarkt and the Rathausstrasse is where the Vorarlberg Provincial Museum adjoins the baroque Nepomuk Chapel and the Lake Chapel with its unique Renaissance high altar. All these are just a few steps away from our main entrance.

Bregenz' landmark, the St. Martin's Tower with the St. Martin's Chapel, the old City Hall and the Deuring Castle are just a few sites of interest in the medieval Upper Town. From the hotel it's an easy walk to the Old Town.
